THE GIFT

A special gift I send to you
wrapped in peace and love,
Tied with ribbons of sincerity 
sprinkled with stardust from above.

The Gift is light, like angel's wings
I filled the box myself,
Heaping wishes deep within
for love, happiness, and health.

When you open your special Gift
choose a wish you need,
These wishes born in my heart
are ready to proceed.

I give you a wish to dream on
and one that's soft to touch,
There's a special wish for painful times
when life becomes too much.

Go, light a Christmas candle
let the flame burn high and bright,
I wish you peace, joy, and warmth
on this beautiful, holy night.
